head-turning van wrap for Ireland’s
leading shed manufacturer
The Challenge
iSupply, one of Ireland’s premier vehicle wrapping and signage specialists, was commissioned by SteelTech Sheds to produce a full printed wrap for a Toyota Proace panel van. The brief was clear: create a bold, premium look that would stand out on Irish roads and reinforce SteelTech’s position as the market leader.
The design featured a striking, complex diagonal-line pattern running across the entire background. Matching this graphic seamlessly across doors, panels, recesses and contours had always been considered nearly impossible with conventional cast films – any misalignment would be instantly visible and ruin the effect. On top of the technical difficulty, the client needed the vehicle back in service fast, making installation time a critical factor.
The Solution
iSupply chose Arlon SLX+ cast wrap film with FLITE Technology, paired with Series 3210 gloss overlaminate for protection and a premium finish. The job was digitally printed in-house on their wide-format printer. Thanks to FLITE Technology’s light initial tack and effortless air-egress repositionability, the installers were able to float large panels into perfect alignment before final adhesion.
The diagonal pattern matched flawlessly across every seam and body line – something the team had never achieved so cleanly on previous materials. Installation time was reduced by a full working day because no sections had to be lifted and re-applied.
The Result
The efficiency gains were immediate. Because the vinyl performed reliably and did not require constant repositioning or fighting with the adhesive, the installation process was significantly accelerated. Beyond the speed of installation, iSupply emphasized the peace of mind that comes with using a trusted product. Having dealt with material failures from other brands used during stock shortages in the past, the reliability of Arlon was a major factor in the project’s success.
